ATL's = Approaches to Learning = engaged student, in the classroom, with their individual educational process, with a desire to achieve their personal best.
All VSA teachers are ATL teachers

The tools to help students with develping and implementing their ATL's are endless.......Wikis, Glogs, Blogs, Google, Podcasts, Video, Comic strips, books, drawing, presentations, mind maps, collaborative tools, radio, music, bookmarks..........and they grow each day. This wikis has explanations of many of these tools, and there are many more resources available.
This wiki from a school in Chile has an immense amount of information and tools to help engage and develop our students in the classrooms - written by an educator - for educators. There are also many very clear simple explanations of the terminology and tools.
Although the wiki above is not from an MYP school, it does show how educational philosophy and the need to engage our changing students in their learning transcends any curriculum demands - maybe the labels are different, but they too can be right!
